
Liam Bates (Chinese name Li Mu, 李牧) is currently a student of Chinese language and culture at the University of British Columbia, Canada. Liam is a performer of traditional Chinese arts, MC, film-maker and travel-enthusiast. He has backpacked extensively throughout China and was a finalist in the 2009 World Chinese competition for foreign university students. Liam’s goal is to help bridge the gap between Chinese and Western cultures and thinking.
